This Privacy Policy explains how the Adlyft browser extension (“Extension”) handles information when you use it to transfer vehicle listings from dealership websites to Facebook Marketplace.
The Extension processes information locally on your device to help sales personnel create vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace.
When a user activates the Extension on a dealership webpage, the Extension reads the vehicle information displayed on that page and temporarily stores it within the Extension. This information is used to pre-fill the corresponding listing fields on Facebook Marketplace.
The Extension downloads selected vehicle photos directly from the dealership website so that the user can attach those photos to the Facebook Marketplace listing.
Vehicle information and selected photos are processed and stored temporarily within the Extension on the user’s device for the purpose of creating and completing a Facebook Marketplace listing.
The Extension does not send vehicle information, vehicle photos, or browsing data to Adlyft, its personnel, or any third-party analytics service.
The Extension does not access, collect, or store your Facebook password, login credentials, or Facebook session tokens.
The Extension interacts with third-party websites, including dealership websites and Facebook Marketplace, to perform the user-initiated actions described in this Privacy Policy.
Adlyft does not control the privacy practices of these third-party websites. Users should review the applicable privacy policies and terms of those services for information about how those platforms handle data.
In the current release of the Extension, licensing and activity-reporting modules are disconnected and inactive. The Extension does not currently transmit licensing information or activity-reporting data.
If future versions of the Extension introduce licensing verification, activity reporting, or other data-processing functionality, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe those features before they are enabled.
